We’re delighted you are considering St. Anthony of Padua Catholic School for your child. Our fully accredited parish school welcomes students from Preschool (age 2½) through 8th Grade in a warm, supportive, faith-filled community.

Thank you for your interest in joining the St. Anthony of Padua School community! Applications for new students are submitted through the Diocese of Arlington Enrollment Website, where you’ll be guided through each step of the process. Completing the application on a computer is the easiest way to ensure everything uploads smoothly.
Please remember that the Diocesan application lets you select more than one school, but an individual application fee is required for each school.
HOW TO APPLY
1. Complete the Online Application Form

Complete all required fields in the application form
2. Upload Required Documents

As part of the application, you will be asked to upload several required documents, including your child’s birth certificate, transcripts or report cards, the Virginia School Entrance Health Form, and sacramental certificates (Baptism, First Communion, and/or Confirmation, if applicable).

If you are unable to upload a document, please email it to office@stanthonyschoolva.org.
Include your student’s name and grade in the subject line. -
You may also drop off physical documents at the school office, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–3:00 PM.
3. Pay the Application Fee

The application fee is $100 for the first student and $50 for each additional student.

All application fees are non-refundable and must be paid before applications can be reviewed.
4. Application Review
-
Once the application is complete, the Admissions team will review it.

In some cases, additional information may be requested.
5. Decisions and Enrollment
-
Decision letters are typically sent within 3–4 weeks after an application is complete and all required documents and the application fee have been received.

If a grade level is full, you will be notified by email and your child will be placed on the waitlist.

If your child is accepted:
-
A $400 non-refundable registration fee is required to reserve their seat.

You will receive next steps, including class placement information and onboarding details.

Admissions Timeline & Priority Consideration
To help families plan their visit and application timing, please note the following admissions dates:

Priority consideration for admissions runs from November 17–December 19, 2025, in the following order:

Returning families

Registered parishioners of St. Anthony of Padua

Catholic families registered at other parishes

All other applicants

Beginning December 20, any remaining spaces are offered on a rolling basis as applications are received.
New student acceptance letters are expected to be sent on January 27, 2026.

The Catholic Discount is available to Catholic Families for the school year. In order to qualify for the discount families need to show our school office a Parish donation envelope addressed to your family / show the Faith Direct transactions that you make to your parish.
Tuition Assistance
Catholic families living in the Diocese of Arlington with students registered in grades K-8 for the 2026-2027 school year are eligible to apply for tuition assistance.
Deadline to apply for Tuition Assistance is February 20th, 2026

2025 tax returns and W-2s are required for verification by FACTS

Diocesan tuition assistance is not applicable to Preschool attendance
Families must apply online for tuition assistance through FACTS.

*VIRGINIA SCHOOL ENTRANCE HEALTH FORM
The Virginia School Entrance Health Form is required for all new students. This form must have been completed no longer than one year prior to your child’s first day of school at St. Anthony of Padua. For the safety of the rest of our students and faculty, students without complete medical records must be excluded from school until records are completed.
**STUDENT RELEASE OF RECORDS AND EVALUATION FORM FOR K - 8 APPLICANTS
Download this form to submit to the student’s current school to release all school records, as well as allowing the previous school to give us an evaluation of your student. Parents must complete the top part of the form and sign it before giving it to the student’s current school.
