Welcome to Summer Camp

Our Camp provides a wonderful opportunity for children to learn in a playful, relaxed environment.
At our theme based camp children explore a different theme each week – Some past themes were come live under the sea, explore space, or travel back in history to medieval times. Art, music, and library are incorporated into these themes each week.
Campers will make full use of our spacious classrooms, playgrounds, sports field. Water activities abound with sprinklers. We will enjoy lots of outdoor art and ball play, and Friday Fun Days.
Camp is offered in weekly sessions. Sign up for one or more, pick and choose your dates to suit your schedule.
Full and half day options available.
Our half day program runs from 8:00a-12:00p.
Full day is 8:00a-5:00p.
No aftercare available.

This is a traditional style camp offered to students age between 2.5 years to 5 years (Includes students in Junior Kindergarten)
Our weekly themes offer our youngest students a fun play-based environment to explore, create and investigate.

A traditional style camp offered to students currently in Kindergarten - 2nd grade.
Camp includes weekly themes, game strategy, LEGO mastery, summer reading, computer coding.

Standardized tests (Scantron, MAP, Placement tests, SAT/ACT) require specific skills that are rarely taught. Campers will learn practical tips and universal strategies that will help them to do their best in any testing situation. The life skills of perseverance, anxiety management, confidence and time management that students will gain from this practice will be an added bonus. Parents will receive multiple practice test results to view camper progress. Taught by Ms. Luperon.

ALL THINGS SCIENCE
Offered to rising 7th - 8th grade students
If science is your favorite subject, then join us for a deep dive into science and technology with the Airforce Association Virginia State Teacher of the Year, Melissa Pore. Mrs. Pore has previously taught at St. Thomas More and Bishop O’Connell High School. She now presents at teacher training around the country on STEM education, including at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. We are very fortunate to have join us this summer!

WRITERS WORKSHOP
Offered to rising 3rd - 8th grade students
Every camper will be a published author by the end of this week-long exploration of the many styles for putting thoughts on paper. Campers will use their imagination, experiment with the fundamentals of the writing process, and become a better creative writer. Participants will receive a quality writer’s journal as well as a printed anthology of works produced by the group that week.

THEATER & PERFORMANCE
Offered to rising 3rd - 8th grade students
For those who love storytelling, going to the theater, or are naturally a bit dramatic, we have the camp for you. Campers will use all their skills to tackle every challenge of putting together a performance of a short play in one week! This effort will require actors, of course, but also costumes, makeup props, sets, a Director, a Stage Manager, and a crew to pull it all together. Families will be invited to attend the performance on the last day. Taught by Ms. Luperon.

ART EXPLORATION CAMP
Offered to rising 3rd - 8th grade students
Spend a week exploring new mediums for artistic expression. Campers will try their hand at ceramics and weaving under the guidance of our own Ms. Forrest. By utilizing a variety of materials, campers will complete the week with multiple works of three-dimensional art and perhaps a new creative passion.
Half Day Week 3: July 3 - July 7 - $250.00

Join Sra. Mendez for a week-long fiesta as campers get to know one of her favorite Spanish stories. Through interactive readings, discussions, collaborative illustrations, and acting-out scenes, campers will develop their language skills and their cultural appreciation at the same time.

Spanish Immersion Book Club
Offered to rising 3rd - 5th grade students
PSA Sports Camp is held in a full-sized gym and on a large sports field for ages 5-12 years.
